Interview with the Magus: Bluefluke and The Complete Psychonaut Field Manual

I stumbled against this weird manual called “The Complete Psychonaut Field Manual” and read it through… then I find out the author and found this article. I have little thoughts about this topic, but this realm of information seems to be very interesting and has been too little investigated. Gnostics and magigians have been around for centuries, maybe it is time to find out what they know about this reality…

I am supremely excited to present an interview with magician, artist, author and creator of “The Psychonaut Field Manual”, Arch Traitor Bluefluke. His PFM is fast becoming one of the most well known and iconic texts of modern chaos magic. In addition to the manual, Bluefluke has a tarot deck in the works based upon the Eight Circuits of Consciousness of which the filed manual also uses as a foundational map.

Q: What do you consider your greatest magical achievement?

A: Being able to connect with and form genuine bonds with Fear Eaters (i.e. shadow people) and creating a system that empowers others to do the same. Our new found ability to communicate with them has put the long running view that they were (at best) sentient thoughtforms reflecting the inner psyche or (at worst) just hypnagogic hallucinations, to rest. These are sentient, intelligent beings, with complex social structures, capable of camaraderie, empathy and even love. And while their behavior can often seem odd or disturbing this boils down to having radically different psychological frameworks as our mind are structured to process information much differently.

My hope is that we as a community will begin to better differentiate between spirits that emanate within us (local spirits) from those that emanate from without (non-local spirits). Both exist and both are valid subjects of study. I’m also fairly proud of my reconstruction of the aging Eight Circuits of Consciousness. This revolutionary illumination system was meant to be an agnostic answer to theological heavy systems such as Kabbalah and the Chakras. Shamefully, this incredible technology had been neglected for almost thirty years and hadn’t been updated with the many groundbreaking discoveries made in psychology, neuroscience and the occult so I stepped to the plate and did so myself.

Q: Who are your personal heroes, those who most inspired you on your own journey?

A: Robert Anton Wilson is my philosophical cornerstone. He taught me that while occult technologies absolutely do work, not to fall into explanations just because they confirm my personal ideological belief system. To observe evidence divorced of my own bias and question the claims made by those who are considered authorities on the subject, not just in the occult but on any matter as even the greatest minds may confuse indubitable truths with their own confirmation bias regardless of suffixes attached to their name. No one is immune to human nature. Art wise, I learned to draw and color using an NES emulator called Nesticle that allowed you to replace in game graphics with your own.

The limited graphical abilities of the console was a great teacher as it forced me to be creative in order to make the most of as little resources as possible. The greats of the “Demoscene” were a huge influence on me in that regard. Their projects taught me how to use complementing colors, how to create the illusion of extreme detail with only a few lines and the importance of thick outlines to convey boundaries. Even with unlimited hardware resources, I still abide by demoscene rules and use six similar sets of four color palettes. I was fully content in that medium until the day I read Incal, a comic book illustrated by Moebius and instantly fell in love.

I’d read comics most of my life and while there were a fair number of truly talented artists along the way nothing compared to Moebius. Every panel was on par with a painting in an art gallery. I put down rom hacking and trained myself to master pens and pencils. To this day he remains my favorite artist and I use his work as a motivation to push myself as far as I can.

Q: What importance, if any, do you place on full visual manifestation of a spirit during evocation?

A: Visual manifestation of spirits is hugely important for me, personally. I spent years doing grueling visual meditations solely for this purpose. Sure, you can “see” them in your imagination as you would a day dream with little or no practice (and most do) but actually seeing them in right front of you in full detail, in real time, with no morphing or distortion removes all doubt and gives them a “realness” that is hard to describe. This becomes even more profound if you’ve chosen to bond with a companion spirit. Instead of just being trapped as a voice in your head they can move freely about the environment however they wish.

This may seem small but for them it means the world. It makes them feel human. Solid. It gives them a feeling of independence and selfhood that we very much take for granted. Again, you don’t need advanced visualization skills, you can just keep you eyes closed and imagine the spirit you are interacting with. In fact, should you be able to reliably quiet your mind during regular meditation, the image you’ll see in your imagination will be very close to what the spirit is attempting to project themselves as since there should be little or no “thought noise” to interfere with your connection.

Q: What was your first “oh fuck, this shit is real” moment in your personal magical practice?

A: I was thrown headfirst into the occult fairly early. When I was young I frequently suffered bouts of sleep paralysis and all the stereotypical experiences that go along with them. They were benign at first (annoying at worst) but as time went on they became increasingly dark and were inevitably accompanied by Fear Eaters looking for an easy meal. I went from doctor to doctor. Each of whom would fail, one after another. Their treatments progressively became more and more condescending, painful and dehumanizing until, out of desperation, I feigned wellness to escape the torture.

I began my own search for answers. My travels down the rabbit hole eventually landed me in an occult chat room occupied by magicians who sympathetically pieced together a banishing ritual to combat my attackers. I felt a sort of mix of skepticism (society at large declared magic to be make believe) and fear (I had been raised in a Catholic family) but I was desperate enough to try anything. I performed the ritual and to my shock, it worked. It really worked. Magic was real. A whole new secret world had opened up in front of my eyes. I was instantly hooked and quickly became obsessed with learning all I could.

Q: What is one piece of magical tech you could not live without?

A: Astral work in general. All about is weaved a fantastical wonderland of our own making, populated by beings both native and foreign. It’s an exciting frontier that never fails to produce something new every time you play with it. That kind of stuff hits me in all the right places.

Q: At what age did you start practicing magic and why?

A: I started a steady magical practice right after controlling the above said sleep paralysis. I began studying and experimenting with every technology I could find.

Q: What is your advice to the young aspiring magician just getting started today?

A: First, don’t take another magician’s word as absolute fact, including mine. Experience it for yourself and come to your own conclusions. If you are following a fraternities curriculum or an author’s instructions and you aren’t getting results after numerous attempts, change something. Tailor your magic to suite YOU. Second, DO THE WORK. Do it everyday. The first step of breaking in your mind through meditation can be boring as fuck (which is why it’s so difficult), but the more you do it, the easier it will become until you will be able to enter gnosis at whim.

Q: What are your current magical endeavors?

A: Currently, I’m about to release the first truly universal Tarot deck that works with all three major illumination systems, Kabbalah, the Chakras and the Eight Circuits of Consciousness. While it can be used as a divination tool like any modern deck it’s primary function will be Tarot’s original purpose, to act as a decryption key to a plethora of occult goodies. I’m also collaborating with I.O.T. wunderkind Julian Vayne on a comic covering chemognosis which is fairly exciting. And of course, I’m working on the fifth chapter of the Psychonaut Field Manual.

Q: How do you respond to Christian evangelists knocking on your door at dinner time?

A: I tend to be fairly tolerant of people who hold opposing viewpoints to my own. Outside of a poisonous handful of con men, cultists and theological dictators, I find most people who’ve devoted themselves to Christianity/Judaism/Islam do so because they feel helpless in the face of tragic circumstance or are lonely and just want someone, anyone, to love them. 99.9% of these people really do mean well and are, in my experience, sweet and tolerant people. However, I completely understand the utter disgust some have for such religions if they’re trapped in an overtly oppressive ultra orthodox environment or have had their lives either disrupted or destroyed by the constant attempts to dismantle the separation of church and state.

It must also be stated that occultists must stay vigilant as these religions are in their death throes. As such, some of their less intelligent believers have turned to conspiracy to justify their faith in a world moving on without them. Within these conspiracies we are portrayed as illuminati-esque monolithic juggernauts hell bent on destroying their religion so that we would stand unopposed in creating a one world government for the devil. This may all sound laughable but these ideas are quickly gaining traction. We must do everything in our power to keep those who parrot this nonsense from commanding the reigns of government.

Q: What effect and focus do you think magic should have upon politics and world events?

A: We’re all aware of Masonry’s legacy, throwing down the great kings of the earth and founding the democracies we live under today. They kept the ultra rich from seats of power and forced gender/racial equality when it was being cock blocked by zealotous jackasses. But because of Masonry’s massive decline there is no longer a collective force to keep corporations and the ultra rich from raping the body populace. It may be wise to emulate their model to some extent in order to keep our society from either devolving into a cyberpunk-esque dystopian hellscape or crumbling to ruin.

While this endeavour would require unprecedented cooperation by the occults great houses, it may be our last chance to right this battered ship. Occupy failed. Anonymous failed. The meme war campaign is a fucking joke. We have one last option to right the course and not long before that option will leave the board. We need to act, now.

Ouija: Not a Game

Many of you have seen how people use this board or make the board to paper and try to contact dead realtives or ghosts. I have just one advice: DON’T EVER USE IT! It’s not a game and if you don’t know how to deal with spirits and negative forces it could ruin your life forever. Here’s just one article and some cases what has happened:

Ouija: Not a Game

by Dale Kaczmarek

The Ouija board has been used by thousands of people for spirit communication and is very similar to automatic writing, the only difference between the two being the absence of the board itself in automatic writing. Both forms of communication are very dangerous; as are séances, because they are usually uncontrolled forms of communications. In other words, the individuals that use these channels are usually novices and are unaware of the possible dangers that await!

A controlled situation would be where a psychic, medium or clairvoyant is present. This way the medium could sense if any dangers are present and close off the communication before any harm was done.

The Ouija board is just a piece of compressed wood, sold at virtually all toy stores and occult supply and book stores. Ouija is a combination of two words: “oui” and “ja” which mean “yes” in French and German respectively. The board itself is not dangerous but the form of communication that you are attempting often is.

Most often the spirits whom are contacted through the Ouija are those whom reside on “the lower astral plane”. These spirits are often very confused and may have died a violent or sudden death; murder, suicide, etc. Therefore, many violent, negative and potentially dangerous conditions are present to those using the board. Often times several spirits will attempt to come through at the same time but the real danger lies when you ask for physical proof of their existence! You might say, “Well, if you’re really a spirit, then put out this light or move that object!” What you have just done is simple, you have “opened a doorway” and allowed them to enter into the physical world and future problems can and often do arise.

I would strongly advise against the use of the Ouija, automatic writing or séances. If you don’t happen to be lucky or unlucky enough (depends on how you look at it) to contact any ghosts, then if nothing else, you could become emotionally attached or dependent on the board’s advice. This can be psychologically adverse on the psyche as you will attempt to get more and more information out of the board and you could actually just be using the board as an avenue to the inside of your own mind without realizing it. In other words, you could be asking questions of the board and then your subconscious mind would be using the planchette to answer your own questions! This often happens to those people who use the board by themselves.

I believe the following cases are true examples of what could happen to those who continue to use the board or become obsessed or possessed!

Ouija Board’s Evil Spell Still Lives in Our House

(National Examiner, 31787 by Robert Stamper)

I invited a foul horror into my house with a Ouija board. My brother and I got no results when we started to use the psychic device, but suddenly the message indicator mysteriously began to move. The first thing the board told us was that the message was being sent by Seth. Then I made the tragic mistake of telling the board to prove it was real by doing something supernatural. The results were startling and scary. The board told us that the grandfather of one of my best friends would die in a week. The chandelier in the room began to shake violently and the chimes rang like pieces of metal being smashed together. The room became as cold as ice and we were shivering, though the thermometer read 70 degrees. The horrible stench of death filled the room and we couldn’t stop gagging and coughing.

Suddenly, the noises stopped and the room was as quiet as a cemetery in the middle of the night. My brother and I looked at each other in terror. We opened the windows to get rid of the stink or rotting flesh and told each other we’d forget the whole thing. But a week later the grandfather of one of my best friends died just as the board has predicted! And from time to time the chandelier would rattle, the room freeze and that awful smell return. I couldn’t take it any more. I threw the board away and told my mother about the experience. She told me that once you tamper with a Ouija board, its evil spell will remain forever. And to this day, those terrifying tremors shake the house and the stench of death fills the room.

Ouija Board Summons Demons

(The Sun, 12986)

A simple Ouija board became a passport to Hell for a family that accidentally summoned a demon into their living room. “I thought it might have been the Devil himself,” says John Ravens, father of the tormented family. “When it was over, we were all bleeding and had severe burn marks. Our living room was a disaster area.”

“It was supposed to be a joke,” says Gloria, the girl’s mother. “We were going to make believe we were talking with the spirit world.”

Little Lynda, her nine-year-old brother Ronald, and their parents gathered around the board for what they thought was going to be an evening of fun at their home in a Toronto, Canada suburb. “We were just playing around with it when suddenly the planchette that spells out answers began moving by itself,” says John. “We were all scared, but then I thought maybe one of the kids was up to tricks. We started asking questions, and this spirit began speaking to us. “Then it asked if it could visit with us. By this time, I was sure someone was playing a joke, and I said yes,” he adds.

That’s when the nightmare began. “The demon appeared within seconds,” says John. “It spun around the room overhead, laughing and cursing at us. “It was surrounded by a ring of fire and the room became so hot, it was like an inferno from Hell.” The family describes the demon as red and black with scaly skin and horns. It also had giant bat wings. “Then it suddenly swooped down and attacked us,” recalls John, horror flickering over his features. “It started biting each of us on the face and arms. “We tried getting up and running for the door, but every time we did, the creature started clawing us. It was so fast, we couldn’t escape from it.”

Lynda and brother Ronald were picked up repeatedly and hurled across the room. As they lay helplessly on the floor, the creature pounded on their chests and heads. “It had hooves that dug into my children’s faces and skin, marking them badly,” says Gloria. The attack lasted for more than an hour before the horrifying demon vanished as quickly as it first appeared. The children were screaming and crying as John pulled them out of the house and drove to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for cuts and burns.

Demons Use Ouija Board As Gateway To Take Over Soul

(The Sun, 22884) by Lewis Clifford.

Terrifying demons freed from other dimensions are preying on helpless human victims. And the gateway used by the grotesque monsters is being kept open by innocent toying with Ouija boards and other tools of the occult, top medical and religious experts caution.

“They are vile creatures of the night,” warned Dr. Alberto Gonzalez, of the Pan American Institute of Health. “They exist. They can possess the bodies of their victims and cause normally gentle, nonviolent people to commit outrageous crimes. They can assume other forms some quite ghastly.

“And they are among us in many instances solely because of these sinister toys called Ouija boards.” Gonzalez, a psychiatrist and parapsychologist, claims he has found demonic links to several cases of cattle mutilation and human vampirism in Central America.

Says the Rev. Morris Cerullo, president of World Evangelism and author of The Black Side Of Satan, Creation House, Carol Stream, Illinois, 1973. “Many people have related to me weird tales of answers given by the Ouija board. This and other occult games may seem intriguing, but the implications are serious and not to be tampered with. They can lead to dangerous waters indeed.

“Use of a Ouija has even led to violence and even to murder…” Dr. Marta Prohazka of Fairfax, Virginia, is also convinced that spirits can play terrifying destructive games with human behavior. During her practice as psychotherapist and psychoanalyst, she realized that many patients she had considered “hallucinating paranoid schizophrenics” might instead merely be in touch with something invisible to her but visible to them.” I came to understand that another plane, or dimension or existence interrelated with our plane or visible manifestation,” she said. “By training and expanding consciousness, some individuals gain entrance into that invisible dimension. It seems to some like a window into heaven.

“I also learned that contact with the other dimension can be dangerous, especially if a psychically sensitive person loses his emotional harmony. The window into heaven can then become a window into Hell.”

Millions of the plastic oracles are in use in American households, nevertheless. And the eerie messages from beyond they have spelled out have been credited or blamed for marriages, divorces, sickness, misery, mystery or murder. Psychic and medium Anne Rose told the Sun: “Horrible demons have definitely been released by the Ouija board.

“The Ouija board is a vehicle which makes it easy for negative spirits and demonic forces to enter this plane of existence.” The Merrillville, Indiana clairvoyant cautioned that evil spirits or demonic forces often gain the trust of people experimenting with Ouija boards by answering several questions truthfully and providing predictions. “Once they have gained the trust of their victims, it is easy for the entity to move in and take over either by strongly influencing that person, or by outright possession,” she said. People who are untrained and unsophisticated in the field of the paranormal and supernatural should never play with devices such as the Ouija board, according to the clairvoyant.

A Letter from a Reader

Just was doing some work on your site and I wanted to share something with you and maybe you can help me. I am very sensitive about this. I went through your site and you had a warning about the Ouija board and I have had a bad experience when I was 19 years old and I am still haunted by this. I am 49 now.

My Mom, got involved with the board when I went away for about a month. You see I was the fourth child and kind of the loner. I was the one that went to church and had a strong belief in God. When I got back from being away everyone but my mom greeted me outside and all were very upset and hurt. They tried to tell me before I greeted my mom, but when I saw how she looked and how she came up to me, this was not my mom. This woman was a stranger to me.

I went up to my room, and very tired from the trip, I laid on my bed and fell to sleep. When I got this feeling that I was being watched, I opened my eyes and staring down at me was my mom. She was smoking in my room which she never done before and she just gave me this look, that frightened me. She told me that “I was protected”. Looking up at her, I said, “I knew that I was and that God watches out for me everyday.” She laughed and said that I was protected but it was not by God. And I told her that I did not want protection from anyone but the good Lord himself. She got nasty with me and left my room.

That night I heard a party going on downstairs. I looked at the clock and it was one in the morning so I got up and went downstairs, peaked around the corner and the plastic piece on the board was going by itself and several different voices of men and women were coming out of my mom. My mom could not get by a minute without asking this board what to do first.

I think what bothered me the most is my dad would not do anything about it, or my older sister and brothers. One afternoon I came home and it was so bad that I fought with her and I went out and burned it. That was a mistake because what I saw coming out from the fire was not fire. And I remember it so well. I moved out.

My mom bought another board and lived with it until she died in 1996. My dad went to the place that she had stored it, but it was not there.

My mom and I worked things out and she seemed to get better, but she would not give up the board. She left me this haunting and I have to live with this. I have lived all my life with spirits and ghosts and they don’t bother me. But the board I don’t like it. I know first-hand how it can take over people’s lives and you are right to say it is a door-way for things to come through. I am still working through this and if any of your readers want to know first-hand, you can share this with them.

Thank you! Pam Frost

I am not an expert in Ouija but do warn people against using this or any means of spirit communication including, séances, automatic writing, etc. This is not a parlor game nor is it something for anyone to experiment with as there are many dangers involved. I constantly get calls and emails from people who are absolutely terrified after using the Ouija and ask for my help. Often this comes in the middle of the night, from out-of-state and by way of adolescents.

Please do not call me for advice or how to rid oneself of what you may have conjured up through communication with the Ouija because I really cannot help especially over the phone in the middle of the night. My best advise has and will always be not to use this or any other form of communication! If you have general questions about the Ouija, try Googling Ouija or picking up copies of any of the books listed in Suggested Further Reading or email author Jennifer Arnold at the email listed. She has gone through sheer Hell since her early experiments with the Ouija while a teenager herself. Thank you and leave ghosthunting to the researchers and investigators!

Spiritual research on possession

Now some information bout possession and how you can prevent it:

John_Henry_Fuseli_-_The_Nightmare

How much does spiritual level provide a protective sheath against ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.)?

Ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) trouble us for a number of reasons which have been explained in the article on ‘What is the objective of ghosts’. They can affect us in many ways materially, psychologically and spiritually.

(Please read the article on Examples of superficial causes and spiritual root causes of problems in our lives.)

To remedy a problem in our lives that is caused by a ghost (i.e. a spiritual cause) we need a spiritual remedy. Practicing Spirituality and the resultant rise in our spiritual level is the key factor that protects and insulates us from the onslaught of an attack by ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies etc.) The principle here is that whoever is stronger spiritually, wins.

(Please read the article on What is spiritual level?)

Let’s look at a few variations in how this principle works practically:

  • Our first example is a person who through spiritual practice has achieved the 40% spiritual level. If a common ghost at 25% spiritual level attacks him, the effect of the attack on him would be very limited or negligible. Please see the diagram below.

Effect of attack if person is at 40% and ghost is at 25% level

Ghosts can have very high spiritual levels, e.g. some sorcerors from the 6-7 regions of Hell have a very high spiritual level like 80-90%. Those persons who have done lot of spiritual practice consistently in many births but have committed a grave sin or developed high ego go to these regions of hell as ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies). However by virtue of their past spiritual practice, they have a high spiritual level and hence high spiritual power.
  • However suppose the Common ghost (at 25% spiritual level) is acting on the orders of more powerful ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) such as a subtle-sorcerer (māntrik) from the lower regions of Hell (Pātāl), the situation could change adversely for the same person mentioned above (at 40% spiritual level). Subtle-sorcerers use common ghosts to carry out tasks and they also give them the requisite black energy to trouble a person at a higher spiritual level than the common ghost.

Note: In case of the regions of hell, the lower the region, the higher the severity of negativity. For example, the seventh region of Hell lies lower than the first six regions and hosts ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) of highest spiritual power, that is, with the highest black energy levels.

Effect of attack if the common ghost is given black energy by a higher level negative energy

  • Even people who are at the high spiritual level of a Saint are open to an attack by ghosts of a higher level. Here the ghosts cannot affect a Saint’s mind and intellect as they have merged to varying degrees with God; so they target the Saint’s physical body. Saints have been known to experience severe physical distress like bleeding or loss of vital energy (Prāṇa-shakti) as a result of distress caused by higher level ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.)
  • Seekers engaged in spiritual practice for the sake of society are especially at risk of being attacked by ghosts as compared to those doing only individual spiritual practice. The reason why ghosts attack seekers of God is given in ‘What is the objective of ghosts’. Seekers who serve God by trying to spread Spirituality as a part of their spiritual practice for the sake of society come under God’s protective umbrella to a greater extent and get His grace in being protected from ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.)

The following table shows the details of distress experienced by a person due to attacks from ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) in relation to their spiritual level and type of spiritual practice.

Distress experienced from ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) according to one's spiritual level

From the above table we can see that:

  • With increasing spiritual level, the person is attacked by higher level ghosts. This is because he is impervious to attacks by ghosts of a spiritual level less than 10% of his own spiritual level. For example, a person at 40% spiritual level is unaffected by an attack by a ghost of spiritual level less than 30%.
  • The distress by ghosts suffered by persons at a lower spiritual level is predominantly due to the subtle-bodies of their ancestors. This is especially so about persons doing individual spiritual practice.

Footnotes:

1. This column shows the subtle-region or plane of existence from where the ghosts come from. It can either be from the Nether region (Bhuvarlok) or one of the seven regions of Hell. The numbers in the column refer to the region of Hell. The lower the region of Hell such as six and seven, the more powerful the ghost (demon, devil, negative energy, etc.)

The entire universe is made up of fourteen regions or planes (lokas) of existence, comprising seven positive and seven negative planes. Earth is the only physical plane while all the other planes are subtle in nature. Heaven is just one of the positive planes we can go after death.

2. Even though most ancestors reside in the nether world, we have differentiated ‘ancestors’ from ‘ghosts of the Nether region’ in the chart. The term Nether is used here to mean that the attack is by a ghost in the Nether region, that is not an ancestor of the person.

3. Persons who take up the spread of Spirituality as a part of their spiritual practice are attacked with more intensity by ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) but they also get added protection. On the other hand, the attack is reduced on people doing individual spiritual practice after the spiritual level of 70% as ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) do not waste their energy on them, as they become assured that these people are only doing individual spiritual practice. People who mind their own business and do spiritual practice only for their own sake do not constitute a threat to ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.). On the other hand people spreading Spirituality help raise the sāttviktā in society. This is a direct threat to the ghost’s way of life as they are Raja and Tama predominant and cannot tolerate sattvikta.

4. This column refers to the severity of distress faced by the person on account of being attacked by a ghost. The severity of distress is on a scale of 0 to 100% where 100% means death of the person.

God’s protection received is about 10% and 20% more than the strength of the attack by the ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) by people doing individual spiritual practice and those doing spiritual practice for the sake of society respectively. God’s protection is uniform for all, but those with higher spiritual levels and those doing spiritual practice for the sake of society due to their lesser egos are able to receive it more.

This does not mean that a person is totally unaffected as God’s protection is more. What is meant by God’s protection is:

  • Making the attack less troublesome for the person, i.e. the person is able to endure the distress.
  • Saving the life of the person.
  • In the case of people doing spiritual practice for the sake of society, imparting spiritual energy as they need more spiritual energy for spreading Spirituality. This is one of the reasons why protection is more for persons doing spiritual practice to spread Spirituality in society, the other being that the attacks are more severe.

People not doing spiritual practice are unable to receive required protection from God. The reason for this is that there is a lot of ego around their soul. As a result, protection received is less than the attack from the ghost. Due to this ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) can create havoc in these people’s life at a physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual level.

Robert and Annabelle dolls – Fact or fiction?

These are just those stories, which are hard to believe if you don’t see it yourself… I would like to see these dolls and make my own conclusions about them, what about you?

Robert, otherwise known as Robert the Doll,[1]Robert the Haunted Doll,[2][3][4] or Robert the Enchanted Doll;[5] is a doll that was once owned by Key West painter and author Robert Eugene Otto. The doll is alleged to be possessed by evil spirits and has a terrifying reputation.

The doll, which is allegedly cursed, has become a fixture of ghost tours in the Key West area since it was inducted into the Fort East Martello Museum. Aesthetically, Robert resembles an early 20th-century American Naval officer. Contrary to popular belief, however, the doll’s hair is not made of human hair, but rather, it consists of a synthetic material resembling wool yarn.[6]

Eugene was given the doll in 1906 by a Bahamian servant who was skilled in black magic and voodoo and was displeased with the family. Soon afterward, it became clear that there was something eerie about the doll. Eugene’s parents said they often heard him talking to the doll and that the doll appeared to be talking back. Although at first they assumed that Eugene was simply answering himself in a changed voice, they later believed that the doll was actually speaking.

Neighbors claimed to see the doll moving from window to window when the family was out. The Otto family swore that sometimes the doll would emit a terrifying giggle and that they caught glimpses of it running from room to room. In the night Eugene would scream, and when his parents ran to the room, they would find furniture knocked over and Eugene in bed, looking incredibly scared, telling them that “Robert did it!”. In addition, guests swore that they saw Robert’s expression change before their eyes.

When Eugene died in 1974, the doll was left in the attic until the house was bought again. The new family included a ten-year old girl, who became Robert’s new owner. It was not long before the girl began screaming out in the night, claiming that Robert moved about the room and even attempted to attack her on multiple occasions. More than thirty years later, she still tells interviewers that the doll was alive and wanted to kill her.[7]

The doll is annually rotated to the Old Post Office and Customhouse in October, with the museum staff claiming that strange activity in the museum increases during such times.

The doll made an appearance at Taps CON,[8] a paranormal convention held in Clearwater, Florida in May 2008. This was the first time that it had left Key West, Florida in the 104 (at the time) years of its existence.

For individuals who visit Robert in the Fort East Martello Museum and wish to take a picture of him, according to legend, the person must ask the doll politely. If the doll feels disrespected it may choose to curse or follow a person. [9] If he does not agree (by tipping his head to one side), and the individual takes a picture anyway, the doll will curse the person and their family.[10]

The doll served as an inspiration for the Chucky doll in the Child’s Play film franchise.[1]

Annabelle

Annabelle was the focus of a case that famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren took part in during the early 1970s and is highlighted in the book The Demonologist. It has been stated that this is one of the most unusual cases of a possessed object on record.

In 1970 a mother purchased an antique Raggedy Ann Doll from a hobby store. The doll was a present for her daughter Donna on her birthday. Donna, at the time, was a student in college, preparing to graduate with her nursing degree and resided in a tiny apartment with her roommate Angie (a nurse as well). Pleased with the doll, Donna placed it on her bed as a decoration and didn’t give it a second thought until a few days later. Within that time, both Donna and Angie noticed that there appeared to be something very strange and creepy about the doll. The doll apparently moved on its own, relatively unnoticeable movements at first, like a change in position, but as time passed the movement became more noticeable. Donna and Angie would come home to find the doll in a completely different room from which they had left it. Sometimes the doll would be found crossed legged on the couch with its arms folded, other times it was found upright, standing on its feet, leaning against a chair in the dining room. Several times Donna, placing the doll on the couch before leaving for work, would return home to find the doll back in her room on the bed with the door closed.

The Medium

One night Donna came home to find the doll had moved again, this time it was on her bed. Donna had come to find that this was typical of the doll but somehow she knew this time it was different, something wasn’t right. A sense of fear came over her when she inspected the doll and saw what looked like blood drops on the back of its hands and its chest. Seemingly, from nowhere, a red liquid had appeared on the doll. Scared and desperate, Donna and Angie decide it was time to seek expert advice.

Not knowing where to turn, they contacted a medium and a séance was held. Donna was then introduced to the spirit of Annabelle Higgins. The medium related the story of Annabelle to both Donna and Angie. Annabelle was a young girl that resided on the property before the apartments were built. She was a young girl of only seven years old when her lifeless body was found in the field upon which the apartment complex now stands. The spirit related to the medium that she felt comfort with Donna and Angie and wanted to stay with them by moving into the doll. Feeling compassion for Annabelle and her story Donna gave her permission to inhibit the doll and stay. They were to soon find out however, that Annabelle was not what she seemed.

Lou

Lou was friends with Donna and Angie and had been with them since the day the doll arrived. He had never been fond of the doll and on several occasions warned Donna that it was evil, saying that she should get rid of it. However, Donna had developed a personal tie to the doll and decided to keep it, despite Lou’s feelings. Her decision was a terrible mistake.

One night Lou awoke with a jolt of terror, a jolt that didn’t seem like it was from his usual nightmares. Somehow, something felt different. What would appear to be a common case of sleep paralysis became all too real; he looked around the room but couldn’t discern anything out of the ordinary. At first anyway. Looking down toward his feet he saw the doll, Annabelle. It began to slowly glide up his leg, moving over his chest and stopping at his neck. Helpless against it, the doll began to strangle him. After a moment Lou, at the point of asphyxiation, blacked out. He awoke the next morning, certain it wasn’t an ordinary night terror, and was determined to rid himself of that doll and the spirit that possessed it.

Preparing for a road trip the next day, Lou and Angie were reading over maps alone in her apartment. The apartment was eerily quiet. The silence was broken when rustling sounds coming from Donna’s room aroused fear that someone had broken into the apartment. Lou, determined to figure out what was causing the noise, quietly made his way to the bedroom door. He waited for the noises to stop before entering and turning on the light. The room was empty except for Annabelle, whom was tossed in a corner on the floor. Lou searched the room for signs of forced entry but nothing was out of place. As he got closer to the doll he got the distinct impression that somebody was behind him. Spinning around Lou found that despite his unease nobody besides himself and the doll were in the room. Then in a flurry of motion he found himself doubled over in pain, with blood dripping from a cut on his chest. Upon opening his shirt, there on his chest were what appeared to be 7 distinct claw marks.

Today

I hope you enjoyed this article and should you ever want to visit the famous Annabelle, she can be found at the Warren Occult Museum in Moodus, Connecticut. The museum is run by Lorraine Warren, the famous paranormal investigator, and now frequent guest on the television show “Paranormal State”. Housed in a glass case at the museum you will find Annabelle. Mrs. Warren relates that Annabelle still moves about occasionally and is still known to make growling noises at unsuspecting visitors….

So what is the Truth… hard to believe. I would have to see the doll myself and do some investigations. Once again it’s up to you.
